Hi Friends,

The logistics are finalized and here is the opportunity to study with my German teachers, Karin and Gerhard Krebs. They will be here in October and the seminar is being kept deliberately small. Please come absorb this amazing and powerful process.

This residential semiar is being held at Linda Kohanov's Apache Springs Ranch. I have personally stayed at the ranch conference center and found it very comfortable, cozy and easy bathroom share.

There are extra restrooms in the main teaching room area along with the one in the main barn. There are lovely walking trails and with the sound of the canyon running water when I visited the rustic barn apt. , I felt that on a budget with two other compatible roomies - it  could be very doable. For private bed and bath reserve early at the Xanadu.

Riding and Teaching Leadership.

May 23 - 25, 2008

This Workshop addresses everybody who is interested in riding a horse without a bit.

It also addresses those who are HorseAssistedEducation Trainers with a lot of experience as business coaches but less experience as horse holders. The workshop is combining exercises from management trainings with exercises from training and riding horses.

Riding a horse without a bit demands some kind of deeper understanding about how to relate to them without using force and also a deeper understanding about how the reigns are supposed to be used. As they are not supposed to be used to give direction ! But if the reigns do not give direction, how can I then give direction to the horse ?

Basically we will look at this topic from two points of view:
1. How can I partner with a horse using it’s language and creating a bond through playing with distance and nearness. Inside this work we will find all there is about trust and respect, when to communicate boundaries and when to question ourselves if things don’t work out the way we want them to.
2. How to guide a horse through having a very clear feel of balance within our self and together with the horse. This balance is as much a matter of the physical body as it is a matter of understanding the meaning of balance in a much greater spectrum.

Your outcome from this workshop will be:
A deeper understanding about the language of trust-respect and distance–nearness inside the horses world.
Some ideas how to interact with horses in every days life such that they get the opportunity to grow more and more self-confident.
Some ideas how to interact with horses in every days life such that you get more and more self confident.
An understanding about bit less riding.
An understanding about how working from the ground connects to riding a horse.
To not use the reigns for giving direction.
To use balance to give direction.

The workshop starts at 15.00 pm on Fridays and ends at 16.00 pm on Sundays. The next workshop is scheduled for March 7.-9. 2008
The horses worked with are 3 Andalusians. As every participant will have his/her horse for the duration of the workshop the number of possible participants is 3.

Beginners are welcome. You do not need any riding experience.

Your investment would be 360€ including food, excluding hotel costs. There is a very comfortable hotel nearby which charges between 37€ and 55€ for bed and breakfast per night.
For EAHAE members the price is reduced by 10%

DDr. Fritz Hendrich (Austria)

I made the experience, that in our group there is a lot of expertise in horse-work and in personal-development – but when we address companies, there very often is an additional demand for management- and leadership-tools to be connected with the horse-assisted training. So if one of you wants to add this to his offers, I’m open for cooperation bringing in these items you may read about in my books “HorseSense”, “Die vier Energien der Führung” und “Das Leader-Buch”.
